Gerard L. Pennefather
Gerard, a Chartered Accountant by training spent 12
years in corporate finance and treasury in New
Zealand with NZ Equities and Ord Minett. He returned
to Singapore in 1996 and taught banking for the
University of London and the University of
Queensland’s MBA program.
In addition, he is chairman of Nexus Structured
Solutions and Non-Executive Chairman of Nexus
Underwriting Asia.
He is also an independent director of Transamerica
Life Bermuda in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda.
Olivier Wallner
Obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration
from the leading French business school HEC in 1984.
Upon graduation, he joined a subsidiary of the BNP
Group as a Private Banker in Africa and returned to
France to become the BIAO Group’s treasurer. In
1989, he joined the Lazard Freres Group and held the
position of CFO of SOVAC until March 1996 when the
Company was sold to GECC. He was one of the founders
and Chairman of AFGAP (the French Assets and
Liabilities Management Association.) In early 1996,
he was appointed Managing Director of Lazard Asia in
Singapore. In late 1997, Olivier set up his own
management advisory firm, Phoenix Management Asia,
and has since then been actively involved in helping
global companies operating in the region undertake
corporate restructuring and investment projects. In
2001, he founded WP Capital. He currently resides in
Brussels.
Anthony Egerton
Tony has over 30 years of experience in
(re)insurance and structured finance. After spending
the first 15 years of his career in the London
insurance market, as both a broker and an
underwriter, he has been in Asia ever since,
initially in Hong Kong with Centre Solutions -
Zurich Group’s finite risk and structured finance
subsidiary, and then more recently as President,
Asia-Pacific for Lloyd’s of London, based in
Singapore. Tony has a Master’s Degree in Economics
from Cambridge University, holds a MBA from the
London Business School and is an Associate of the
Chartered Insurance Institute. He is also a
Certified Executive Coach. He also currently resides
in Singapore.
Ece Berkün
A mathematician by training, Ece has 21 years of
world-wide industry experience; executive roles in
Turkey, Germany and Singapore with a Regional scope;
assignments in Thailand, Canada and Brazil;
project-based consulting work across Europe (UK,
Italy, France, Belgium, etc.).
During her 15 years with the Allianz Group, Ece had
various leadership roles in multifunctional,
multicultural set-ups. At a global scale, she was
directly involved in the development and
implementation of the Group’s key strategic
initiatives sponsored by Allianz SE Board such as;
TOM/AOM & Operational Transformation Program,
Sustainability, Customer Focus, Innovation (i2s),
Moving Towards Cultural Excellence among others.
She graduated from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul
in 1998 and is OPEX-Sigma certified Black Belt since
2006.
Ece currently resides in Turkey. She is a Partner in
Huntington Group as well as Ancora Management
Consulting and sits on the Boards of Dogus Etiket
A.Ş. and Skor Veri A.Ş.
Steve Puckett OBE
Steve, a seasoned business leader who, following a
successful international career with ExxonMobil
corporation, founded a number of enterprises in the
energy, tech and financial space. He has broad
commercial and financial experience and is currently
a board member of both public and privately held
businesses, of non-profits and of local and
international academia. He is an experienced coach
and mentor to rising regional executive talent. He
is extensively networked having held various
industry leadership roles in Asia, including as
President of the British Chamber of Commerce in
Singapore and of Britain in South East Asia, and as
a former Chairman and a Fellow of various
professional institutions. He has been based in Asia
for more than 30 years and resides in Singapore.
Devadas Krishnadas
Devadas Krishnadas is the founder and CEO of
Future-Moves Group, a boutique consultancy focused
on public policy and corporate strategy. Prior to
founding Future-Moves Group, Devadas played a
leading role in developing Singapore's fiscal and
social policy where he led efforts in long term
planning and strategic thinking. He served two and a
half years in the Singapore Infantry and ten years
as a Senior Police Officer, including as Commanding
Officer and Head of operations. He served three
years as Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the President of
Singapore, the late President S.R. Nathan. He also
served five years in public policy in multiple
Ministries, including the Ministry of Finance.
Ngai Kay Cheung - Director
Ngai Kay has over 10 of years of experience in
corporate finance, specialising in research and
analysis in merger and acquisitions, capital
raising, strategic advisory, due diligence,
strategic and organizational reviews for companies,
brokers, Lloyd’s syndicates, private equity funds.
He currently resides in Singapore.
